Performance Tester  

Location : RAMA 3

Responsibilities:

• Analyze non-functional requirements (NFRs) and collaborate with stakeholders to define performance testing scope.
• Design and develop performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, or k6
• Set up and manage performance test environments, including data preparation and monitoring tools (e.g. Dynatrace )
• Execute various types of performance tests including Load, Stress, Volume, Endurance and Availability testing.
• Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and work with developers or infrastructure teams to investigate root causes.
• Produce detailed performance test reports with findings, metrics (TPS, response time, error rate, etc.), and improvement recommendations.
• Support CI/CD integration for automated performance testing (optional but preferred).
• Stay up to date with performance testing best practices and propose process improvements.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with testing in cloud environments.
• Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash, or JavaScript).
• Experience with database performance analysis and SQL tuning.
• Knowledge of mocking services using GoMock or similar frameworks is a plus.

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of experience in software testing with at least 1–2 years focused on performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with one or more performance test tools: Apache JMeter (preferred), k6.
• Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Good understanding of HTTP protocol, REST APIs, and system architecture (e.g., client-server, microservices).
• Ability to analyze system metrics and logs to pinpoint bottlenecks or resource limitations.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
