Software Tester (Manual)

Location : BTS Mo Chit Station

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing test cases based on business requirements, adhering to established criteria and priorities.
• Support the creation of SIT and UAT test cases under the guidance of middle/senior test engineers.
• Review requirements and specifications to understand and apply test conditions.
• Help prepare test data and maintain the Test Coverage Matrix (TCM) as per defined conditions.
• Execute various types of testing, including functional testing, SIT, UAT, while accurately documenting outcomes.
• Record failed test cases, detailing functionality, or UX/UI issues, and reproduce identified defects.
• Identify, log, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, etc.), ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Report issues and potential risks related to the test plan.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and smooth product delivery.
• Provide initial feedback on product feature enhancements from a user perspective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1–3 years of experience with test tools such as Postman, Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence.
• Skilled in testing across multiple platforms, including Desktop, Mobile, Web, and API services.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating across teams.
• Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, resourceful, and a strong team player.
